Getting Muddy for Cancer Research UK

On Saturday 4th July, myself and 21 of my lovely Fitness Quest ladies took to Southampton Common to get MUDDY!

It was an incredible day, we all had loads of fun and giggles and the 5K muddy obstacle course took many of us out of our comfort zones. The event is organised by Race for Life which supports the charity Cancer Research UK.

We're still awaiting some of our fundraising money to come in, but can confirm that so far we've raised a whopping £1000 (double our target) with more to come! It's still not too late to sponsor us, so have a look at our photos and click here to donate.

I'd like to send special thank you's to each of the ladies who joined me in my quest to get muddy in the fight against cancer, everyone who sponsored us, anyone who came up to support us and anyone who shared our story or motivated us online... THANK YOU!

Here are a few more of our group shots!

And our feet are now famous thanks to the Race for Life team choosing our glamorous before/after shoe shot for their "thank you" montage!

We're already thinking about what we can do next, more mud? More Obstacles, colours, run, moonwalking??? Please get in touch if you've got any idea's or would like to join us :-)
